Barbara C. (Hines) Wood

Barbara C. Wood, 74, of Warsaw passed away unexpectedly, July 24, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Barbara was born May 12, 1943 at home in White County, Indiana to Walter and Lucille Hines. She graduated from Rochester High School and retired from Warsaw Community High School.
She loved spending time with her family and friends. She found great joy in doing for others. She was a fan of horse racing and I.U. basketball. She loved to read and create beautiful hand embroidered keepsakes for family and friends. She attended New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Warsaw.
She is survived by daughter Melinda (and husband Steve) Zorn of Warsaw and a brother Dale (wife Georgia) Hines of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lucille Hines.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, 3651 North Detroit Street, Warsaw, IN.
Memorial donations in her name may be given to Magical Meadows.
