Carol Joy (Sparks) Young

Carol Young, 78, of Bremen passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. She was born July 10, 1940 in Etna Green to Maynard and Dessie Sparks.

Carol is survived by five children, Pamela (husband David) Culp of Nappanee, Penny Huffman of Nappanee, Patty (husband Paul) Walter of Bremen, Perry Huffman of Nappanee and Peggy (husband Robert) Baxter of Rochester. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Carol liked reading books, doing ceramic crafts and painting with her children and in her later years could be seen scooting on her power chair. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

According to her wishes, services will be private.
