Christine "Chris" (Paxton) Hench

Christine A. “Chris” Hench, 54, of Warsaw went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne while surrounded by her loving family. Chris was born February 23, 1965 in Carlisle, PA to Terry and Martha (Bender) Paxton. She married Dennis “Smurf” Hench on June 27, 1987; he survives.

Chris was a sweet, kind and caring person. She had an unconditional love for people and was always willing to help in any way she could. Chris had a way to see the positive side of most situations, always seeming to be happy and had a contagious smile. She loved her family like no other. She attended Pathway Church in Warsaw, was a cook for Richard’s Restaurant and enjoyed reading and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Dennis, two children, Athena (Gene) Boes of Mentone and Daniel Hench of Quantico, VA, five grandchildren, Gavin Hench, Rebekah Rudiesel, Judy Laramore, Joel Rudiesel, Odin Boes and a brother Thomas Paxton of PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Amanda Hench and a sister, Linda Sanchez.

A funeral service will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Pathway Church, 2402 West Old Rd 30, Warsaw, IN 46580, Pastor Jarod Osborne will officiate the service.

Friends and family will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at Pathway Church.

Memorial donations may be given to the family.
