Janice Kay Unruh

Janice Kay Unruh, age 69, of Bourbon, Indiana, passed away on January 22, 2024 at 9:14 am. She was born on April 22, 1954 the daughter of  William V. and Floreine (Mapes) G. Bowyer in Logansport, IN.   On October 31, 2024, she married John Unruh.

Janice was a homemaker and enjoyed her house plants, gardening, riding Harley’s with John, cooking, camping, and spending time with family and friends; especially her grandkids.

She will be missed by her husband, John Unruh; her children; Wally Holem, Chris Holem, Kendra King, and Josh Unruh; her grandchildren, Owen Vetor, Anthony King, Hannah King, Wally Holem, Luana Holem, Asher Holem, Paislee Unruh; a

sister, Jo Ann Bowyer Chapman; brothers, Wayne Bowyer, Dan Bowyer, Tim Bowyer, David Bowyer; along with

many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jake Unruh; her parents William and Floreine; and brothers, James "Jim" Bowyer, Alan Bowyer, and Dale Bowyer.

The family will host a memorial gathering in remembrance of Janice on April 20, 2024. Location & time to be announced.

Janice will be laid to rest in Bethel Cemetery Argos, IN
