Michael Wayne Blackford

Michael Wayne Blackford, age 74, of Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 unexpectedly at home. He was born on June 17, 1946 to Robert & Frances (Smith) Blackford in Warsaw. On May 22, 1992, Michael married Carolyn Sainer. She survives.

Michael is survived by his wife, Carol; six children, Shannon (Doug) Dirck of Warsaw, Rob Blackford of Warsaw, Heather (Josh) Drudge of New Paris, James Skeans Jr. of China, Gretchen (Phil) Melnick of New Jersey, Elizabeth (Aaron) Corcoran of MI; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Anne (Herb) Bailey of Warsaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with Michael’s wishes a private cremation committal will take place.
