Reita M. (Williams) Fuson

Reita M.Fuson, 88,of Warsaw went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Reita was born in South Bend on May 22, 1931toPhillip Ernest and Ethel V. (Moore) Williams. She was married to John Cecil Fuson, Sr. on July 4, 1954; he preceded her in death on March24, 1975.

Just a month after her birthday, this remarkable lady received her promotion from abundant life to eternal life.  She was a lifelong member of Pathway Church, formerly Warsaw Wesleyan Church.  She was an avid bowler and a beloved Warsaw Community High School lunch lady. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening and playing video games. Some of her favorite refreshments were a Mountain Dew and Hershey’s chocolate. Reita was a sweet, feisty, strong, brave and giving lady who loved her family fiercely. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Those left to cherish Reita’s memories are six children, Brad (Barb) Snyder of Virginia, Brenda (Lonny) Irvine of Warsaw, Michael (Elenor) Fuson of Las Vegas, Marsha (Roy) Estep of Warsaw, Jill (John) Sanders of Warsaw,Joye Hochstedler (P.J. Weisser); 16 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Lois Ann Warren of Silver Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband J. Cecil Fuson, Sr., son John C. Fuson, Jr., grandson Michael D. Fuson and one brother and one sister.

A celebration of Reita’s life will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Pathway Church, 2402 Old Rd 30, Warsaw, IN 46580, Pastor Anthony Cottrell will officiate her service. Burial will follow immediately at Oakwood Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received from 10:00 am until the service at 1:00 pm at the church on Saturday.

Memorial donations in Reita’s honor may be given to David and Dena Scott.
