Mitchell "Mitch" Cass Eldridge

Mitchell Cass “Mitch” Eldridge Sr., 77, of North Manchester passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. Mitch was born May 22, 1943 in Middlesboro, Kentucky. He married Cheryl M. Ludwig on July 6, 1970; she preceded him in death on January 30, 2017.

Mitch was an avid fan of racing, spending many Saturday nights watching his favorite drivers at many local racetracks. He enjoyed fishing, being a vendor at Flea Markets,

and watching his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes with his best friend Missy, his dog, by his side. Mitch was proud of his family and loved his grandchildren more than anything.

Mitch is survived by two daughters, Michelle (Zack) Morton of North Manchester, Stella (Rod) Robinson of Illinois; five sons, Mitch Jr. (Melinda) Eldridge of Logansport, Shane (Audrey) Eldridge of Peru, Marc (Erin) Eldridge of Royal Center, Scott Eldridge of North Carolina, Tony Eldridge of South Bend and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving are three siblings, Stella Louise Lindsay, Benny Frith and Shurlon Rowe all of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Cheryl.

A graveside service will be at 1:30 PM, Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Dave Stevens officiating.
