Sandy (Barger) Tuncil

Sandra S. Tuncil, 66, of Warsaw passed away at 8:33 am. Sunday, March 29, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sandy was born January 5, 1954 in Greenville, OH, the daughter of Glen and Lena (McGahey) Barger. On September 15, 1984, she married Carl Tuncil in Seymour, Indiana, they shared 35 years together.

Sandy was a spirited lady who enjoyed fishing, swimming in her pool and just being outdoors. When she was unable to be outside, she could be found watching QVC looking for her next purchase, playing computer games and listening to one of the many scanners she had throughout her home. One never had to guess what she was thinking or feeling as she mastered the art of communication all the way up to her passing. Sandy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Sandy is survived by her husband Carl, her children, Tracy (Hoss) Kennedy of Urbana, Max (companion Beth) Menzie Jr. of Leesburg; five grandchildren, Arie, Kade and Kyra Kennedy and Tyler and Tiara Menzie. Also surviving are two siblings, Earl (Jan) Barger of Leesburg, Patricia Barger of Logansport and a half-sister Kaye (John) Ready of Plymouth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Lynn Barger and a sister, Wilma Burkett.

Cremation will take place and burial in Oakwood Cemetery will be at a later date.
